You never build a project alone.

Why we exist

Every major project runs on a network: the prime, the subcontractors, the suppliers and the partners they trust. Staten Island has the businesses and the workforce to be part of that network, but too often they are not in the conversation when the work is planned.

SIIA changes that. We connect local businesses and residents to the agencies, developers and contractors building across the city, and we bring their voice to the decisions that shape it.

What we do

Connect. Advocate. Prepare.

Connect

Briefings, roundtables, site tours and introductions that put members in front of project owners and prime contractors.

Advocate

We bring Staten Island industry's input to agencies and lawmakers before decisions are made.

Prepare

Career fairs, a talent network and training connections that link residents to industrial and maritime careers.
